Post-racial humor

The one good thing about Obama being President is that racism is now a thing of the past. As such, I am now free to share my unique brand of racially charged humor with the world without fear of repercussion. So if I ever have any wry observations about Pakistanis or anorexic black teenagers I no longer have to bite my tongue. Then my son can go ahead and post them on his Facebook page for the world to enjoy:

Hahaha no but seriously those chicks were broke.

So this douchebag friended Claymate? WTF?

His own dad calls him "Butt?" What a couple of fucking idiots.

The only cheerleaders Clay Bennett is attracted to are those who look like David Stern.

I hear through the legal grapevine that Clay Bennett is organizing a defamation/libel suit against deadspin and associated news sources spreading the faked web image. I'm not an expert on libel cases (I do wills and probates) involving blogs or individual news sources but it may be in your interest to take this down, or switch IP addys for a few days.

^^^ LOL Clay Bennett will SHUT DOWN THE INTERNET!

In related news, The Onion has begun printing retractions for every story published since its inception.

The Supreme Court pretty much laid down the law on this with Hustler vs. Falwell back in the '80s and has affirmed it a handful of times since.

Bottom line: If the "man possessed" wants to flush what little money he has left pursuing frivolous law suits, he's just going to end up more of a public embarassment than he already is.

Who knew you were all so racist at heart- way to make the kid delete his account everyone! He lost over 1500 friends in a day! Its like the fake-friend equivalent of my wine collection :(

ps. The quote is 100% authored by GB- there's way more caps stored in the BiLB filing cabinet- even some for anti-Semetic, Down syndrome humor enthusiasts. But I guess we'll all have to wait until we elect a mentally disabled Jewish person as President before that's funny. I guess!

Sure it is possible that Bennett could sue for defammation of character but it is highly unlikely.

Why would he sue a bunch of organizations that make little to no money?

Usually in a defammation lawsuit, the point is to get money.

If he was going to sue, he should have sued Deadspin when he was called a liar about moving the Sonics.

Defammation of character! First you need character!

At least his racist diatribes are on Facebook and not MySpace. MySpace is so 2007.

Save Our Sonics encourages citizens to contact state legislature and express support of Senate Bill 6116 by calling the legislative hotline at 1-800-562-6000. Callers should demand similar legislation be sponsored in the House of Representatives.
