Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkk.

So...who's thinking about renewing season tickets? I'm sure everyone's still Thunder-psyched about what Nick Collison calls "the most miserable season I've ever been a part of." Many of you already know what a great bargain season tickets were at only 30% 36% above last season's prices in Seattle. I'm here to remind you that a real fan would renew. You're a real fan aren't you? Well, I guess that depends. Sure you could find tickets online for a fraction of the cost and could probably fish some out of any number of local dumpsters, but then you'd be a total pussy. You're not a pussy, right?

Let me tell you, you won't want to miss a second of the action. Who knows what you'll see on any given night? Take Wednesday night for example. On Wednesday, the Boom squad was coming off its worst loss of the year, which you probably know. A complete joke of a performance. So then the schedule throws us a softball and gives us a shot at Memphis at home, one of only two teams we've beaten this year. Memphis sucks. Now, you might think that any team with a shred of dignity would make sure they came out and put that game into the win column, especially before they head out to Dallas and San Antonio. You might also think that once you build a 21-point lead over the Memphis Grizzlies at home you will probably win the game. But that's what makes Boomer basketball so unbelievable.

Instead, the Thunder managed to get routed in the fourth quarter to complete a truly epic collapse. Exciting stuff. Let's see what Scotty Brooks has to say for himself:

Look at that, another "life lesson". I guess Scotty Brooks is like the Zen Master now. He's Phil Jackson with one career win. Hey Scott, maybe your next lesson should be teaching the Thunder how to score more points than the other team. Worth a shot, right? Or you can just continue making an ass of me. Either way.

So here we are with a 2-21 record and no idea where our next win will come from. It's been 38 days since our last (only) victory at the Ford Center.

But they say it's darkest before the dawn. It's probably darker when you're asleep though. No wait, dead. It's darkest when you're dead, and your rotting corpse of a team is decomposing deep underground. I think that's the expression.

I'd just like to point out that not only has Bennett stolen the team, jersey colors and mascot name (from GS), but Trammel has also managed to steal the name 'Boomers' from our Australian national basketball team.

When was the last time one of the 'leading' citizens of Oklahoma City had an original thought? It can't possibly have been in this lifetime can it?

P.S. Just like the blunder/boomers, our national Australian Boomers suck too.

Translations from the interviews:

Russell Westbrook: "I am getting paaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiid."

Scotty Brook: "Do you think they are really buying this? I have no fucking idea what I am saying right now. I really just need to get home and study for my geometry mid-term."

Nick Collison: "I grew up in Iowa and played college in Kansas, but I can honestly say this is miserable. At least in those cow towns we won basketball games."

OKC can eat a big fack diiiiiick

Pussy? I beat up a homeless guy who had "rescued" two tickets from the dumpster at Toby Keith's crappy restaurant. Clay, that makes me a patriot. A friggin' Minuteman.....

Yeah, if you are a Seattlite, you couldn't have asked for a better start for OKC, except for maybe 0-23. Bennett wanted a crappy team so nobody in Seattle would come to the games. Through dilligent work and scheming, he got his wish. Only problem is he wished too hard and now it seems that the wish cannot be undone. HAHAHA!

Thunder still drawing well with NBA's worst record
By Jeff Latzke, AP Sports Writer USA TODAY Dec. 12th

OKLAHOMA CITY — No matter how many ways the Oklahoma City Thunder find to lose, they certainly don't seem to have any trouble finding people to watch it happen.

Despite having an NBA-worst 2-21 record heading into the weekend, the Thunder are one of the bigger draws in the league. Only this week did Oklahoma City fall out of the top 10 in attendance, and that came after the two smallest crowds of the season came to watch losses to Golden State and Memphis - two other teams near the bottom of the Western Conference.

Still, the Thunder are averaging 18,473 fans per game to rank 12th in the NBA, just ahead of West playoff contenders Phoenix, San Antonio and Houston.

"It's important that we play well here. We love the support. The players love it," said interim coach Scott Brooks, who was promoted after P.J. Carlesimo was fired.

"We've been around a lot of other buildings and it's not like this. We definitely need to give them something they can go home and feel good about."

"Considering how things have started here for us, that means a lot just to be able when we come out to see almost a packed house almost every night," veteran forward Joe Smith said.

"Things are getting better on the floor, but we still have to find ways to win games in the crunch. Just to see them sticking with us the way they have is a great feeling."

"I think since this is our first year here, they're excited about it. They want us just to play hard and leave it on the floor, and I think we've done that for the most part the last few weeks," Brooks said. "But going around to other arenas, it's not like this.

"You have the select teams that are selling out, but we're right there. Every night, it's a good crowd and it's good for our players. Not too many times you can not win a lot of games and have a good crowd."

"It's definitely important for us to have a good home-court advantage, and we have that," Brooks said. "We just have to take advantage of it."

I knew the consumers of OKC would be resiliant in this tough times. Who cares about the team's record, the only thing that matters is the merchandise sold (and painting the town of OKC smurf). Seriously though, if the price of oil had tanked before the season tickets were sold, I don't think their attendance would be as high. A lot of people will be more reticent to purchase them next year.

You're doing God's work slade. MartzMimic's wife told me that He is testing us. Nothing proves our faith more than filling seats while Darnell Mayberry is breaking down over not knowing where our next win will come from. Blasphemer. You can cover for him when he passes the collection plate to you this Sunday.

Actually, I believe the saying is "It's darkest before the zombies eat your brains."

the boomers are gonna have to fuck teams up to get to darnell's win total (i'm confident they'll do just that)

I saw this on NEWSOK.com and thought it was hilarious, just wanted to share it with you guys.

I don't like losing anymore than the next guy but I'm sick of these Seattle trolls infesting our board.

They're only here to belittle and antagonize and they're a big reason that all these threads degrade into grade school mudslinging.

But I have to admit that it's inspired me. When ever I get frustrated with the trolls tactics, I don't get mad, I "consider" getting even...I "consider" shooting off an email to a State Senator or Representative in the state of Washington and demand that not one penny of my tax dollars be spent on a new arena for a bunch of NBA millionaires when Washington has so many other pressing needs. Be sure and mention the 5 bilion dollar budget deficit, 10 billion for the 520 bridge and Viaduct and how much you support Frank Chopp.

I must admit that I've "considered" doing it well over a hundred times...

I'd be helping the our local owners because if the Washington legislature doesn't approve funds for an arena in this upcoming session than Bennett and the PBC don't have to contribute 30 mllion dollars to the project.

I would never suggest or advocate that someone do this but if they decided to do it against my advise...

Here's a Washington State House of Representatives Member E-mail List...
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/memberemail/Default.aspx?Chamber=H

Here's a Washington State Senate Member E-mail List...
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/memberemail/Default.aspx?Chamber=S

Here's a Statewide Map of Legislative Districts
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/DistrictFinder/statewide.aspx

All a person would have to do is click on a disrtict and the map will show you the towns that a person could claim to be from in that district to make the email appear to be more authentic.

A troll known as fake Philip brought up a good point, a person wouldn't want to use the email service provided by their ISP but instead use Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail or another generic email services that make it difficult to trace an IP address and make it very hard to know where the emails are coming from.

So the next time a Seattle troll gets under your skin, don't get mad...

Now why do you think OKC gives a damn about what a Seattle troll might think? I mean, why do we trolls have a leg to stand on and have anything we could possibly say that might just annoy OKC? It's karma baby. Bennett is an underhanded sleazeball who stole a team. Now he is paying in spades for his bad karma. OKC is just a bunch of duped dumbasses who will be forced to pay for Bennett's blunder too. OKC, don't get pissy with the Seattle trolls just because they call 'em like they see 'em. Get pissy with Bennett for bringing this monstrosity in powder blue and orange to you. Oh, and don't forget to keep opening those wallets to defiantly prove what wonderful fans you are despite the pile of shit you must cheer on.

I love how some of the Okies scream and cry about Seattle "trolls" (which, I guess, is translated to "people who don't love the taste of Clay's kool-aid flavored cum"). Why should you care what Seattlites think about this? Show some Thunder pride! Fork over 150-plus bucks per game to root for the Thud-ner to lose by less than 15 points! I thought you guys were the greatest fans in the history of American professional sports, so great that you can influence the outcome of games by cheering loudly?

Get out there and be REAL NBA fans! Buy your Earl Watson Thunder jersey! Buy your Thunder shorts, mugs, t-shirts, baby bibs, boxers, stickers, lamps, socks, flags, bulletin boards, etc. etc. etc!!!!!!!!! AND IF YOU DON'T THEN YOU'RE NOT A REAL FAN AND DESERVE TO LOSE YOUR BASKETBALL TEAM!

An Earl Watson Thunder jersey...

I want one just to commemorate this year. I just know I'd laugh my ass off every time it caught my eye!

Go Earl! Go Blunder! 2-22 - OKC must be so proud!

Clay's master plan is working to perfection! Now 2/3 of the country has at least a "fair" opinion of Oklahoma!!!!

"Worse" season ever update:

2007-2008 Sonics record through 25 games: 7-18

This year: 2-23

Well played, OKC, well played.

Get your hate on, with a tasteful and subtle t-shirt.

OKC is having budget problems, 40 million short for education. Clay is getting a 120 million dollar gift.

Does anyone else see something wrong with that?

Looks like OKC rather have a shitty basketball team than kids that can read. Par for the course.

We're not cursing you...it's Karma.

Man those guys look and sound miserable, even when they're trying to sound optimistic about putting "together some wins".

Must suck being a baller in OKC.

I'm guessing that ultimately OKC will be a place where guys get drafted via lotto then move on as soon as they can. No big time free agents will want to sign (or re-sign) there.

LOL

Send the Washington pols a letter from OKC and pose as someone from Wa! That'll work....LMAO

Fucking inbreds, your IPs will come back from OKC and they'll just go in the junk drawer..

Mooks, I know Okies just got this new thing called the internets but on here unlike the rotary phones you have in your houses you can trace.

Dipshits, quit breeding with your sisters and maybe your gene pool's IQs will go up in a few generations.
