MC Last Place

Great news today for fans of both the Thunder and forgettable, derivative rap music. Oklahoma City rapper 'Flame' has written a song about the Thunder Boomers, and it's every bit as good as you're probably thinking. There's no better way to boost your street cred than by putting 'Clay Bennett' in your lyrics. Props to McC for finding this gem:

Now, don't get me wrong. I am not a fan of hip-hop music or hip-hop culture, and I think it leads directly to the moral decay of society. I am by no means open-minded to things outside of my comfort zone and live my life in a state of perpetual fear of the unknown. I am, however, a big fan of anyone with a delusionally optimistic take on Thunder basketball.

Sample lyrics:
"They realize what we doin' now Seattle fans switchin"
Oh shit, Sonics fans dissed by a guy reading lyrics via text message. I OWN A CELL PHONE, BITCHES. That must be because you have such a successful rap career.
"History in the making".
Correct.
"Hotter than Brooke Hogan".
Is that like being cooler than David Stern?

What's your favorite Flame lyric, Thunder fans?

I think I just pissed myself.

"One arena, sold out, none missing." At least for weekend games against the Lakers, Celtics and Cavs.

How does one even decide to use the "Hotter than Brooke Hogan" lyric...I'm obviously not a professional muscian like my man "Flame", but I just can't imagine writing a song and going: "Hmmmm, Broke Hogan...ya that's the girl I will use."

"The coach has got 'em running by the guidelines."

As a seattleite, that is one of the issues of seattle sports. Too concerned about the public relations aspect of the players. Yes, you don't want a lot of drama, but some of the best players in the league have a little bit of attitude that is required to be a successful team.
Gary Payton and Sean Kemp were cocky sob's, but together they put together the best era this team had.

Just waiting for a player to have an issue and see what Clay Clay does. And good luck bringing some of that attitude to OKC via free agency. Those boys love the big city life.

ahYeah motherfucka, now that's what I'm talking about! First the NBA, now we got real live hip hop that's just as good as The Boomers! How you like me now, Seattle? I googled this awesome song so I could get the lyrics and sort of country-fy it ala Toby Keith, but I'm gonna have to wait a little because appearantly they'll only send the lyrics via text. Go Boomers!

Man, that is so fucking gangsta! Instead of tipping cows tonight, I'm going straight 187 on those bitches! "Kevin Durant says Hello, Bitch!" BLAM BLAM!! And don't be dissen on Brooke Hogan. If she was my cousin, I'd totally fuck her.

Flamer aka MC Last Place won't let fame get to his head.

IN fact he even signed his CD for me that I found in the car wash bargin bin. Of course I waited till he finished drying my tires. It would only be intrusive otherwise.
